The OpenPower Project at TUM in cooperation with our industry partner IBM is aimed at connecting industry with academia, providing technical infrastructure and know-how to progress the development in AI and Data Science by making resources more accessible to universities in Europe and all over the world.

Our data center is located near Munich (in Garching) and is built in cooperation with our industry partner IBM, which makes this variety of AI research projects possible by providing access to IBM® Power System™ AC922 & LC922.
